INTRODUCING….

Mooloolah River Waterwatch

And Landcare Inc.

* We are a not-for-profit community group dedicated to the health, protection and enhancement of the Mooloolah River and its Catchment.

*  We repair riparian strips along the Mooloolah River, through community tree plants, in order to establish wildlife corridors and maintain precious biodiversity.

* We establish community monitoring of our waterways connecting local government with community issues and providing community assistance with the resolution of environment and water quality issues.

* We have an established native tree nursery for regeneration projects, selling inexpensive tube stock to the public and our projects.  We provide workshops to the general public and we manage Green Army Teams.

* We provide water quality and catchment education to community, primary and high schools in the catchment, and provide displays and information open days that gives the local community a chance to discuss their issues and connect with our group.

* We have a contract team who can undertake re-vegetation projects, weed eradication projects, and any other work that helps the environment for a reasonable cost.

* We map and monitor endangered and vulnerable flora and fauna to go onto the National Database.
